Regional Arts & Culture Council Grant.
We are extremely grateful to the RACC board for awarding the Bigfoot Poetry Festival a grant of $4,000 for our 2024 season. This grant will go towards helping the festival cover venue rentals, purchase advertisements, print promotional material and festival brochures, and so much more.
Ace Hotel.
Along with acting as this year’s host hotel for our incoming poets and offering discounted rates, the Ace Hotel will be donating their lobby on Friday, June 14th, to host a Poetry Showcase, featuring a poet from every competing team.
Literary Arts.
Always a safe haven to all things literary here in Portland, Literary Arts is donating their space for multiple events - preliminary poetry slams, poetry open mics, and writing and performance workshops.
Oven and Shaker PDX.
This beloved Portland restaurant is offering our poets + volunteers at 15% discount during the run of the festival.
Powell’s Books.
Powell’s Books will again be donating space to Bigfoot for our poetry slam tournament. The first night of the competition will see two slams take place on Powell’s top floor.
